01Scope & our role

This policy covers personal information we handle through our website and our real-time AI sales-coaching Service. When we provide the Service to a business customer, that customer generally controls the conversation data processed on its behalf. In that context, the customer is the "business" (or controller) and Wispero acts as a "service provider" (or processor), handling data under our agreement with them.

If you are an employee or customer of one of our business customers, the business's own privacy notices may also apply, and you should direct certain requests to them.

In short

For conversation data, the business using Wispero is in charge. We process it on their instructions and to run the Service.

02Information we collect

We collect the following categories of information:

Category
Examples
Account & contact
Name, work email, company, role, and login credentials when you create or are provisioned an account.
Conversation data
Audio captured during sales conversations, transcripts, detected sales stage and intent, prompts delivered, and outcomes.
Usage & device
Log data, IP address, browser and device information, and how you interact with the Service.
Configuration
Cases, prompt wording, roles, locations, and other settings you create.
Commercial
Plan, billing contact, and transaction records (payment card data is handled by our payment processor).

03Voice & conversation data

The core of the Service involves processing live audio. We transcribe conversations, analyze them to decide whether a prompt is useful, and log prompts and outcomes for analytics and audit. This data can include the voices and statements of representatives and the customers they speak with.

Our business customers determine which conversations are captured and are responsible for providing notice and obtaining any consent required by federal and state recording laws. We process this data on their behalf and according to our agreement with them.

Recording consent

U.S. recording laws vary by state, and some require all parties to consent. The business using Wispero — not Wispero — is responsible for obtaining the consents required where it operates.

04How we use information

We use personal information to:

  • Provide, operate, maintain, and secure the Service;
  • Transcribe conversations and generate real-time prompts, analytics, and compliance signals;
  • Authenticate users, manage accounts, and provide support;
  • Process payments and manage subscriptions;
  • Monitor performance, debug, and improve reliability and quality of the Service;
  • Detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, and security incidents;
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

05AI models & training

We use automated speech recognition and machine-learning models to deliver the Service. We do not use a business customer's conversation data to train models for the benefit of other customers without that customer's authorization. Where we improve our models, we use data as permitted by our agreements, and we prioritize aggregated or de-identified data that does not identify individuals.

In short

Your conversations aren't used to train models for other customers unless you allow it. We favor de-identified data for improvements.

06How we share information

We do not sell personal information. We share it only as follows:

  • Service providers (subprocessors): cloud hosting, speech processing, analytics, and payment providers who process data on our behalf under contract;
  • With your organization: managers and administrators within a business customer can access conversation data, prompts, and analytics for their team;
  • Legal & safety: when required by law, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, and the integrity of the Service;
  • Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.

07Data retention

We retain personal information for as long as needed to provide the Service and for legitimate business or legal purposes. Retention periods for conversation data are generally configured by our business customers. When data is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it in the ordinary course.

08Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and logging. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

09Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live and applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of your personal information, and to opt out of certain processing. Because conversation data is often controlled by our business customers, we may direct certain requests to the relevant customer, or fulfill them on the customer's instructions.

To exercise your rights, contact us using the details below. We will verify your request and respond as required by law. You will not be discriminated against for exercising your rights.

10California (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use and disclose it, to request access and deletion, to correct inaccurate information, and to limit the use of sensitive personal information. You may also opt out of any "sale" or "sharing" of personal information.

We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under the CPRA. The categories of personal information we collect and our purposes for using them are described in the sections above. You may exercise your California rights, or designate an authorized agent to do so, by contacting us below.

In short

California residents can access, correct, or delete their data and limit sensitive data use. We don't sell or share your personal information.

11Cookies & tracking

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember preferences, and understand how the site is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may affect functionality. We honor recognized opt-out preference signals where required by law.

12Children's privacy

The Service is intended for business use and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

13Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will revise the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, provide additional notice through the Service. Your continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
